Service Description

Looking to get your horse or pony's diet checked by a fully insured, qualified and independent equine nutritionist no matter where you live in the UK then this is for you! This consultation is great in that it doesn't matter where you live in the UK, I can support you and your horse. In advance of the call I will send you a pre-consultation questionnaire, and ask for photos in order for me to understand more about your horse and look at the diet in advance. This means that we can really make the most of our time on the phone when we do speak which lasts for 45 mins - 1hr. During the call I will give my independent recommendations for your horse's diet and feed regime to include grazing, forage, hard feed, any supplements as appropriate and electrolytes, so looking at the diet as a whole. Workload, temperament, lifestage, condition and any clinical issues in relation to feed will all be considered. This consultation will help dispel any feeding myths and answer any questions you may have along the way leaving you feeling confident about what to feed and why. With a ‘Remote Consultation Plus’ a detailed, emailed report with my recommendations will then be sent to you within 5 working days after our call so that everything we have discussed is available for you to refer back to, leaving you feeling confident and clear about what you are doing and why. I can guarantee you will wish you had had one sooner.
