Service Description

Want a fully qualified, experienced and insured independent equine nutritionist out to see your horse or pony then this is the service for you!! Just like a remote consultation this will involve assessment and development of the diet plan for one horse with me in person visiting your yard. This plan entails looking at the diet as a 'whole' so forage, grazing, hard feed, supplements and electrolytes as appropriate. In order to develop the best possible diet for your horse this takes into account condition score, temperament, exercise levels, any competition aims, lifestage and clinical considerations. Through having me out in person I will be able to perform and also guide you on how to Body Condition Score so that you can continue to monitor long after I am gone and also physically see your grazing, set up and regime. This diet is completely independent so you can rest assured knowing it is the best possible for your horse. Following the consultation you will be emailed within 5 working days a full detailed report of everything recommended and discussed so you have information to refer back to. Following on from this you are also entitled to a 10-15 minute follow up phone call after 4-6 weeks to see if any further adjustments need to be made. This is a national service so does incur a mileage charge of 45p per mile return from Newmarket. Second horse discounts are available depending on distance travelled.
